Jeremy Meinking
I was born into a very devote Catholic home. My parents came to faith in Jesus
Christ soon after I was born, and began to instill in me the teachings of the
Bible. At the age of 6, I put my faith in Jesus Christ for salvation and
forgiveness of sins. As I continued to grow up, I spent many Sundays and
Wednesdays at church in front of various Bible teachers, as well as attended a
Christian school, but I never let the truths of the Bible sink into my soul and
mind until I got to High School. It was then that my faith really became real
to me and I started taking my spiritual growth seriously. As a Junior in High
School, God called me into youth ministry. After graduating High School, I went
to Moody Bible Institute and majored in Youth Ministry. After graduating from
Moody, I spent three years as a full-time Youth Pastor at Little Flock
Fellowship Church in Ashland, OH. When my contract was approaching an end
there, I felt God leading us out of the area to New Mexico. My family and I
have now been here for one year. God has blessed me with a wonderful wife, Jen,
our children, 2 girls and 2 boys (Ariana, Alethea, Colin, and Chad) with number
5 on the way.
